We have had some rain in the last week. It's also been relatively humid. The other day I was doing something around the trailer and noticed the soothing distinct sound of frogs! It is nice to live far enough out of town to hear the birds and frogs.
As a result of the rain and humidity I discovered a leak at the back of the trailer. I had to empty out what they call the "trunk" so I've got crap stored in every possible knock and cranny. I'm tripping over rolls of silicone sealant. As I walk in the trailer there is a fan forcing air into the trunk so the wood is sure to dry and hopefully lessen the chances of it rotting. Some days I feel like the place is booby trapped.
School is wrapping up. I had a presentation last week. The day before the presentation my computer crashed. Of course it's going to crash before a big assignment!! I am hoping that replacing the fan on Tuesday will extend it's life into the summer when I hope to be able to replace it. I have an online exam this week. I won't be using the laptop because it will surely crash again in the middle of the timed test!!!
The garden is coming along nicely. The garlic is still maturing. We planted it way back in the fall or early winter. I've never grown garlic so it's a virgin experience. The radishes and beets seem to be growing nicely. We have little tomato plants (the size of your thumb) and onions (the size of your pinkie finger). My herbs seem to be doing well. Things are growing nicely with the recent rains and the humidity. As long as they grow Outside the trailer and not inside!!!
