Home is Where you Park it

I live in a travel trailer and use this as an avenue to share what I have learned about the RV lifestyle and the transitions it takes me through. The RV Lifestyle is truly a different lifestyle. This blog is also about the adventures life takes me on, whether they relate to the RV lifestyle or not.

Car Show

Once a year I enjoy going downtown to take photos of the old cars that are traveling through town. It gives me the opportunity to dig deep into my creative spirit and try some new things with the camera.
For instance, for a long time I have wanted to take photos of neon signs, but just have not taken the opportunity to gallivant around town with the camera. This gave me the unique opportunity to play with multiple subjects in one frame. The neon signs did some things I was not expecting, like bouncing around in the camera and being projected upside down on the body of the car. It also shows how out of focus the camera is. I guess part of that is the movement of the tripod.

I was exhausted documenting this event. Earlier during the day I had taken the licensing exam for my profession. Initially I was not going to go to this event, but seeing and hearing the old cars captured my heart and reminded me what a fun event this is.
