In the Dark of Night

Joe and I have had something getting in the garden and eating our little plants. We've known about it for a few weeks, but have never seen this rodent. In the garden he's dug small holes and taken out a few plants. In some of my flowers he's uprooted all my flowers.

We really aren't sure what this thing is. Intiallilly I thought it was a bird digging for worms. Other suggestions include an armadillo, possum and squirrels. Someone brought a trap. I've laid out food, which evidently is of no interest to this guy (you can laugh), since we have yet to trap him.

So the saga continues in who is this rodent and how to trap him.
