End of the first week

So it's been the end of my first full week in the new home. I have heard from several folks that full timing in an RV is a lifestyle. It really is. It's not just an adjustment to living in a few aspects of your life, it is an adjustment in every aspect.

I've managed the heating. Earlier this week I ran water to prevent pipes from freezing and filled my grey water tank. I found water standing in the bathtub. I learned how to empty the sewage pipes and how to clean them when I move in the next couple of weeks. Doesn't that sound appetizing?! Physics and chemistry play a big part in life, I wish I would have remembered more from those classes in high school. I can't have hills and valleys in my hoses. Leave a little water in the Plastic Thrown and it helps keep the odor out. Always be aware of what is over your antanae before you raise it. If you use the gas burners for heat you MUST have a window open. So what's the point in having heat if all the hot air is going out the window!!! But if you don't there won't be much left to tell.

My neighbors change on a regular basis. I have not seen them but the houses change rather often. I wonder who they are and where they hail from. That cat in the neighborhood, is he "passing through" or does he live there.? The cushions for the dining room table get old quick when you spend 8 hours sitting at them studying. That narrow kitchen floor that is as wide as I am makes for a great place to do yoga. Quinoa is a healthy grain I have added to my dairy free/glutin free diet. It's high in protein, magnezium and zinc. There's not room for a microwave or a toaster in my new home. The microwave would take up my entire counter.

Oh what an adventure!!
